Course Description

Background:  START/Jump START is the disaster triage methodology that has been adopted by the EMS and healthcare community in New York State. This 2 hour webinar is intended to provide a review of START/Jump START

Training Objectives:

  • Define a Mass Casualty Incident and the unique challenges of an MCI
  • Understand the differences between day- to-day triage and triage during an MCI
  • Increase provider competency in the use of START/Jump START triage

Target Audience:

  • First Receivers (Hospital providers)
  • First Responders (EMS providers)
