Background:

START/Jump START is the disaster triage methodology that has been adopted by the EMS and healthcare community in New York State. A review of START/Jump START will be conducted during this webinar training session.

Training Objectives:

  • Define a Mass Casualty Incident and the unique challenges of an MCI
  • Understand the differences between day- to-day triage and triage during an MCI
  • Increase provider competency in the use of START/Jump START triage

You are currently enrolled in the Disaster Triage Webinar Course scheduled for March 13, 2017 from 10:00am - 12:00pm
START Disaster Triage Student Handouts

On the day of the session, simply log into LMS with your login username and password.  You will be brought to your "Home Page" and under "My Current Courses" select the launch course button for FLRTC-DT-Web02.  Meeting password is welcome2. 

Follow instructions below:
1.  Enter your name and email address.
2.  Enter the meeting password - welcome2
3.  Click "Join Now"
4.  Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
5.  A "popup" will ask you to provide your phone number (call back) upon joining the Webinar session.  Enter your direct telephone number.
6.  To avoid problems logging onto the LMS or accessing the Webex, please begin at least 15 minutes prior to the course.  Course "details" (password, dial in number, etc.) can be accessed on the home page in the "My Current Courses" on the right side of the screen or by going to the default tab "My Courses" (5th tile down in the navigation menu on the left) in the "Current Courses" area.
