TITLE: High Stakes in Saratoga: Keeping on Track with Lessons Learned for Incident Command & Public Safety

DESCRIPTION: With an increase in tourism and high-profile mass gathering events in the Saratoga region coupled with changes in societal behavior, this program will show the challenges and improvements our organization has made to our Incident Command and Public Safety response based on actual events and drills
OBJECTIVES: By the end of this session, participants will:
- Be able to identify the role of healthcare organizations in planning for and response to mass gathering events.
- Describe the integration of hospital incident command within the community's incident command and response structure.
- Explore opportunities for collaborative planning such as joint drills and tabletop exercises.
- Participants will learn what a hospital based rescue task force is and how it can help in situations such as barricaded subjects or active assailant
