Arthritis affects nearly 40 million people in the United States; in fact it’s the most common disease in people over the age of 65. Arthritis is an inflammation of the joints which can cause pain, swelling, and an interference with normal movement. Providing appropriate treatment can greatly improve a patient’s condition as well as prevent further damage.
