Course Description: The upcoming BPR-6 Population Data Systems to Improve Planning Training Webinar will provide a  review of national data systems, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) and the Environmental Justice Index (EJI) as well as New York State Department of Health’s (NYSDOH) Heat Vulnerability Index and Cooling Center Finder. These data systems can assist jurisdictions in evaluating their population characteristics. The webinar will identify how the data can be leveraged to enhance healthy equity and emergency planning.

Course Objectives: This webinar will provide Local Health Departments (LHDs) with guidance, recommendations, and information related to population data systems to improve preparedness planning.
